Thank you for the article Meleti, I know it must have eaten a lot of your time to prepare it. I did notice that Robert commented at length on it and rather quickly. It didn't sound like he did any research at all on it. Seems to me he's about half way out and three quarters the way in the org. still! I have also picked up on all the Watchtower literature being accessed here. If you want to catch more fish you might wanna try changing your bait, or if you want the people to eat more try a new recipe!!!

I put this post here because a number of the readers of beroeans.net are not subscribed to beroeans.study yet. This site, beroeans.net, is very JW specific. I created the other site, beroeans.study, with a view to what you suggest: provide a site where people can go who are not interested in the world of Jehovah's Witnesses, but do want to understand the Bible better.

Robert has his ideas, and I respect that, even when I disagree. It is fine to question any teaching or opinion we might encounter here or elsewhere, as long as we don't descend to the level of attacking the person. That is what the Organization does when it
summarily disfellowships all who disagree with their teaching, not giving any thought to actually defending their position from Scripture.

Here's a question that may or may not bring interest. Can you get dis-fellowshiped if you are not at least a baptized publisher and if you can then what exactly is it you're getting dis-fellowshiped from, cause technically if you are not a baptized publisher or higher you are not an official Jehovah's Witness?

stranger, your conclusions about me are incorrect, and I don't appreciate this criticism.

I have done a great deal of research on this subject. It was not my intent to provide exhaustive references in my study forum comments, but only to express my views, which I did, and I clearly identified them as my opinions. It is because I did in fact do such research in the past that I was able to respond to Meleti so quickly.

I am by no means "three quarters the way in the org", and claiming that I am is disrespectful. I have had nothing to do with WT for many years.

      You know nothing about me.

That was not my conclusion about you Robert, I have recommended before to you to watch the words you use! You say that you're not in the org. no longer but it seems as though that's all the information you use most of it just twisted-up. An observation is absolutely not a conclusion.

      Hi Stranger,

Romans 14:10 comes to mind. While I don't always agree 100% with all of Robert's comments, I respect the fact that he brings some positive, thought-provoking material to this forum. One thing I have observed is that Robert is indeed a thinker and researcher. Again- welcome to the forum Stranger. Let's try to be a positive reinforcement to all.?

My Brother, how right you are! I crunched some numbers he illustrated, and divided 40 yrs being a generation, into 7000 yrs being approximate biblical chronology of mankind, and came up with 175 generations! According to these calculations I pray that a generation span in these modern days don't have such a short time say as 10.5 yrs!!! Adder that one up....
