United in the same mind: a brief study of 1 Corinthians 1:10

Hello everyone!

I am sharing an interesting article about what Paul meant by using "[to] be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment"... uniformity on doctrinal matters? If there is a brother or sister with independent thinking, should be disfellowshipped or excommunicated?

Very interesting article...the unity/conformity has been a topic I have been trying to rationalize and this article does a great job of breaking that down. Not all can be unified in thought at the same time with such deep subjects....we all have our own interpretations depending on our age, life experience, religious experience....being a JW you are not aloud to discuss only to conform so no real growth ever happens it's just giving in. Choosing your belief is much more powerful than being told....when you are born in esp you need room to grow spiritually not have everything pre-figured out and then you go along.....recipe for rebellion.
