True, nothing really controversial. A typical JW flavoured article

I know some brothers and sisters who choose to turn a blind eye to false teachings and worse - they have their reasons for doing that and that's up to them. But for many of us we have chosen a different path and we want to be aware of these false teachings in order to be set free from what we believe to be wrong - we want to worship our Heavenly Father in spirit and truth with others, and being here has helped me to do that, and I am so grateful, and I thank you.

So, one of the opening paragraphs calls us God's children. I wish the GB would make up its mind; are we "children" or are we just "friends"?

Generally nice, but this statement jumped out at me: "Rico thought that he would have to wait until he was of legal age to serve Jehovah fully."
That the congregation rules prevent someone from 'serving God fully' simply for being, against their will, in an unbaptized state, is a startling admission. Thankfully, Rico was delivered from such a fate by scripturally unprecedented (near) infant baptism. How faith-strengthening.
So much for focusing on the positive...

Unfortunately the entire article confines itself to overlaying requirements of the spirit onto a structure built by men. Whereas to the spiritual man, the spirit is not confined to any such structure.
After the study I was asked to drive a DF'd sister home (who suffers a permanent mental disorder). When I arrived at the car, she was absolutely devastated by the study and ready to jump from the nearest cliff I'm sure. Being in total fear of engaging me in conversation should I jeopardize my good-standing, she remained silent to my words to her: "Just remember that the spirit of God is not confined to any structure of men, including ours."
