We here at the Beroean Pickets YouTube channel are very pleased to announce the launch of a new addition to our Beroean family of YouTube Channels, called “Beroean Voices.” As you may know, we have channels in Spanish, German, Polish, Russian and other languages with translations of the content of English YouTube channel, so why the need for a new one?
To answer, I want to start by saying that when I began the Beroean Pickets YouTube channel six years ago I wanted to accomplish two things. First, was to expose the false teachings of the Organization of Jehovah’s Witnesses and other religions. Second, was to help others like myself who want to worship God in spirit and truth to learn how to study the Bible on our own, without being influenced by false religious leaders.
While the number of people on YouTube now exposing Watch Tower hypocrisy is growing rapidly, sadly the majority of them seem to have lost all faith in Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. Of course, Satan doesn’t care if we’re following religious leaders spouting lies or if we’ve abandoned our faith altogether. Either way, he wins, although it’s really a hollow victory for him because it plays into God’s purpose. As the apostle Paul pointed out at 1 Corinthians 11:19, “But, of course, there must be divisions among you so that you who have God’s approval will be recognized!”
For me, Paul’s words are a warning for us that if we focus only on the harm done to us by false teachers, we’ll miss out on the real hope that is and has always been there. Nevertheless, it can be hard to cope with the feeling of loss that comes when we realize that the hope we thought was real was only a tale told by men to enslave us into following them instead of being true disciples of Jesus Christ. It’s hard to deal with the trauma on our own. We need the love and support of others, as Paul wrote to the Christians in Rome: “When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.” (Romans 1:12)
So, the essential purpose of this new channel, Beroean Voices, is to provide a platform for encouragement since our goal is to become adopted children of God.
The apostle John taught us something that we may never have realized as an important aspect of loving our Heavenly Father, especially when we were lost in false religion. He told us that loving him involves loving his children! John wrote, as recorded at 1 John 5:1: “Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has become a child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves his children, too.” We also recall Jesus words, “So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” (John 13: 34,35)
And finally, we can see what our love for each other means as a key to opening the door to life. According to the apostle John, “If we love our brothers and sisters who are believers, it proves that we have passed from death to life…Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions. (1 John 3:14,19)
Therefore, the introduction of this new channel is to emphasize that we must actively encourage each other as a significant and indispensable part of our worshipping God in Spirit and Truth. Adding to the loving recognition that we must have for each other as children of God and members of the body of Christ, Paul emphasized that it is through each other’s insights and examples—not through the insights and examples of false religious teachers—that we gain maturity in Christ. He wrote, “Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the congregation: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the congregation, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-13)
Because we all need each other, we must become more and more aware of each other to continue strong in our hope! “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.” (1 Peter 1:3-5)

Dear Meleti & Wendy,
As a regular viewer of the weekly Zoom meetings, I am always curious to learn the deeper story line behind the faces of the attendees, each one being unique, and special in their own way. Your interviews are all well done, and I'm looking forward to the channel. Good Work, and Success !
