Would You Like to Meet?

– posted by meleti
This is a call out to our brothers and sisters on the other side of the globe, in Australia, New Zealand and Eurasia.  Would you like to meet with other like-minded Christians—ex or exiting JWs—who still thirst for fellowship and spiritual encouragement?  If so, we are organizing an online meeting at 9 PM Saturday evening EDT (New York time) which means anywhere from 9 AM to 1 PM on Sunday morning throughout most of China, Australia and New Zealand.

Hebrews 10:24, 25 (BSB) instructs us to "consider how to spur one another on to love and good deeds. Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching."  This is the simple intent of the meeting.

We will consider a passage from the Christian Scriptures and read it together.  Usually just a handful of verses to start with. Then we open the floor for comments.  Comment if you like, or just listen in.  There are no leaders; no one standing before an audience giving a lecture.  We are all equal. This is a meeting in the manner of a family gathering.  Our leader is one: the Christ.

If you are interested in checking this out to see if it works for you, please email me at meleti.vivlon@gmail.com and I'll send you the information to be able to connect in.  You can do so from any smart phone, tablet, or computer.

If you are concerned about anonymity, be assured that you can join the meeting under an alias.  No one will see your real name and you are not required to share any personal information.

Your brother in Christ,

Meleti Vivlon
