Ngemuva kokuvuka kukaLazaru, amacebo abaholi bamaJuda bathuthela kwigiya eliphezulu.

“Sizokwenze njani, ngoba lo muntu wenza izibonakaliso eziningi? 48 Uma simyeka ngale ndlela, bonke bazokholwa kuye, futhi amaRoma azofika azothatha indawo yethu nesizwe sakithi. ”(UJoh 11: 47, 48)

Babona ukuthi baphelelwa amandla phezu kwabantu. Akungabazeki ukuthi ukukhathazeka ngamaRoma kwakuyinto edlula ukwesaba ukulawulwa. Ukuzikhathalela kwabo kwangempela kwakuyisikhundla sabo samandla nelungelo.
Kwakufanele benze okuthile, kepha yini? Wayesethi umpristi omkhulu uKayafase:

“Kepha othile wabo, uKayafase, owayengumpristi ophakeme ngalowo nyaka, wathi kubo:“ Anazi lutho, 50 futhi anisho ukuthi kungazuzisa ngani ukuba umuntu oyedwa afele abantu hhayi ukuba sonke isizwe sibhujiswe. ” 51 Lokhu, nokho, akazange asho ngokuvela kwakhe; kodwa ngoba wayengumpristi omkhulu ngalowo nyaka, waprofeta ukuthi uJesu wayezofela isizwe, ”(uJoh 11: 49-51)

"Ngakho-ke kusukela ngalolo suku kuqhubeke baceba ukumbulala." (UJoh 11: 53)

Engikuthole kuthakazelisa kule ndima ukucaciswa kukaJohane ngokusetshenziswa ngokuphelele kwamagama kaKayafase.

"... waprofeta ukuthi uJesu wayezofela isizwe, 52 futhi hhayi owesizwe kuphela, kodwa ukuze izingane zikaNkulunkulu ezihlakazekile ziqoqane ndawonye. ”(Joh 11: 51, 52)

Cabanga ngohlaka lwesikhathi. UJohn wabhala lokhu cishe eminyakeni engama-40 ngemuva kokuphela kwesizwe sakwa-Israyeli. Kwabaningi babafundi bakhe — konke kodwa okudala kakhulu — lo bekungumlando wasendulo, ngaphandle nje kokuhlangenwe nakho kwabo empilweni. Wayebhalela nomphakathi wamaKrestu lapho abezizwe babedlula khona amaJuda.
UJohane ungomunye wababhali bevangeli abane okhuluma ngamagama kaJesu maqondana “nezinye izimvu ezingezona ezalesi sibaya”. Lezi ezinye izimvu kwakumelwe zilethwe emhlanjini ukuze zombili (ama-genileles) namaJuda ziba mhlambi munye ngaphansi komalusi oyedwa. Konke lokhu uJohane akubhale ngakho esahlukweni esedlule kwesahluko esedlule. (UJohn 10: 16)
Ngakho-ke lapha futhi uJohane wagcizelela umbono wokuthi ezinye izimvu, amaKristu ezitho zofuzo, ziyingxenye yomhlambi owodwa ophansi kukaMelusi oyedwa. Ukhuluma ukuthi ngenkathi uKayafase ayeprofetha ngalokho ayezokuthatha njengesizwe sakwa-Israyeli wemvelo, empeleni, lesi siprofetho asibandakanyi amaJuda kuphela, kodwa zonke izingane zikaNkulunkulu ezihlakazekile. Bobabili uPeter noJakobe basebenzisa ibinzana elifanayo, “bahlakazeka”, ukubhekisa kwabangcwele noma abakhethiweyo bokukhishwa kwamaJuda nezakhiwane. (I-Ja 1: 1; 1Pe 1: 1)
UJohane uphetha ngomqondo wokuthi laba bonke 'baqoqene ndawonye', behambisana kahle namazwi kaJesu acashunwe nje esahlukweni ngaphambili. (UJohn 11: 52; John 10: 16)
Kokubili umongo, ukuphindaphindwa, kanye nesikhathi somlando kusinikeza obunye futhi ubufakazi bokuthi alikho ikilasi lesibili lomKristu okungafanele lizithathe njengabantwana bakaNkulunkulu. Onke amaKrestu kufanele azithathe njengabantwana bakaNkulunkulu, ngokususelwa ekukholweni egameni likaJesu. (Johane 1:12)
